Day 1. Explore Kemer itself
On the first day, I usually don’t go anywhere far.
After the trip, it’s nice to just settle in: walk around the center of Kemer, go along the promenade and marina, and sit in a café with a sea view.
A walk in Kemer during the day and in the evening feels completely different. And there is actually quite a lot to see in the town itself.
Day 2. Mount Tahtalı
This is a place I recommend to almost everyone.
The cable car takes you up to more than 2300 meters, and from the top you get a panoramic view of the entire coastline — probably the most impressive spot around Kemer.
Make sure to bring a camera: the photos turn out great, but in reality it feels even more powerful. Especially when you realize that just half an hour ago you were at the beach, and now you’re standing above the clouds.
Most likely, this will be one of the most memorable trips of your entire holiday.
Day 3. Boat trip
It’s definitely worth dedicating one day to a yacht or a sea excursion.
Many of the bays around Kemer can’t be seen from the road. From the sea, they look completely different.
It’s also a great way to relax a bit between excursions: swimming, beautiful views, lunch on board, and no traffic at all. There are different options as well — both group tours and private trips, at different price levels.

Day 4. Göynük Canyon
It’s best to come here in the middle or toward the end of your holiday, when you’ve already had enough of the sea and want something different.
Here you get mountains, cold fresh water, and a completely different atmosphere compared to the coast.
Even in the hot July weather, it feels fresh and cool.
Just make sure to wear proper shoes — flip-flops are not a good idea. It’s also quite budget-friendly.
Day 5. Olympos and Çıralı Beach
This is one of my favorite areas near Kemer.
First, you can walk around Çıralı — a quiet place without huge hotels and crowds of tourists.
Then in the evening, go up to the Chimera flames. Fire comes out of the ground here, continuously for many years.
It sounds like a tourist legend, but it really looks unusual, especially after sunset. There are many unique places in Turkey, but this one is definitely special and worth visiting at least once.
Day 6. Jeep safari in the mountains
If you want something more active, I would go for a jeep safari.
It’s not about comfort or nice restaurants.
It’s about dusty roads, mountain villages, views of the Taurus Mountains, and seeing a different side of Turkey.
Usually, these trips leave you with more emotions than another day at the beach.
Day 7. Leave time for yourself
On the last day, I usually don’t plan anything.
Most tourists during their trip find at least one place they want to return to again.
Some prefer the beach.
Some enjoy boat trips.
Some fall in love with the mountains.
So it’s better to leave the day free and just spend it however you feel like.
Final thoughts
If you spend a week like this, you’ll not only see Kemer itself, but also understand why so many people keep coming back.
It’s easy to combine sea, mountains, nature, and active tours here, without spending hours on the road every day.
